This sounds impressive until you realize that the total food market in the US for 2020 was $760 billion--so plant-based represents 0.921% of total food sales. That 43% growth seems astounding--but in 2018, plant-based foods represented only 0.644% of total food sales--so the 0.277 point increase represents a growth rate of 43%.

Interesting analysis of the "burgers." From a nutrition standpoint, it is hard to beat real beef! And beef is plant-based food!

PS: Not suggesting you were trying to mislead with the sales figures. I went to your source and noticed they didn't mention total food sales. That's a dead giveaway that they were trying to mislead...
